We need Jesus!

We Can’t Save Ourselves:

We All Need A Savior. I attended a funeral on Saturday. It was a lovely homegoing celebration. The church was packed. The person was well loved.

It’s wonderful to reminder to good of those who passed on. It’s what the leave behind for us as an example. And we should continue on….

Every funeral there should be a salvation alter call. No many people attend church gatherings on Sunday. But people will attend a funeral.

There was an alter call at the funeral I attended. I believe that there were people who confessed that sinner’s prayer. I did. And ask Jesus to save me some more.

Salvation is an ongoing process. We are being saved in the process of salvation. Jesus is saving us from ourselves.

We all need to be saved from some things in our lives. We can’t save ourselves. We need a Savior. His name is Jesus.

There are many we don’t know Jesus. There are many who deny Jesus. And there are many we confess Jesus as Lord and Savior. I confess that Jesus is Lord. He’s my Savior and much much more.

May we learn as we journey in life. May we shine our light of Jesus in the world in which we live. May the Lord use us to be a witness to those around us.
Amen.

Thanks for reading.
Susan
