Garden Time

Happy 18th Day in Easter~

Yes, it’s that time of year again. People have been making their way to plant a garden. I have seen a lot of gardens early this year. The weather hasn’t been cooperating. But now, I think it’s about the right time to plant in the garden.

I can’t recall when the garden was plowed. But, it’s a rule of thought, to plant the plants in the garden near Mother’s Day weekend. So that’s this weekend. May the rain come to water the land.

I don’t know what will be planted this year. One of my siblings gave some plants to plant. In all in due time they will be planted. And I will tend the garden as I always do.

Last year everything was coming along right. We had a lot of rain. I got the weeds out and so forth. Then there came a time when it wasn’t raining as much. It was super hot.

To make a long story short, there were a lot of tomatoes. But as for the cucumbers, the birds ate the flowers. The peppers didn’t make it. I hope that this garden will be better than the last one.

May we always have a garden to plant in every season.
May our hearts be the garden for good soil to sow and reap a harvest.
May we water our hearts with the word of God.
