What Is The Meaning Of Christmas?

It’s Christmas Eve Somewhere In The World. Yes, we’re headed to the Christmas Season. The celebration of the birth of Jesus, the Christ, Son of the Loving God. But, there are many who don’t know this or yet believe that it is so.

Have you ever stopped and think;
What is the meaning of Christmas?
Why do we celebrate Christmas?
Through the years we grow up and make some discoveries of our own about Christmas. We learn things we were taught as children. It’s not about Santa and his reindeer’s. It’s not about getting or giving presents. It’s not about buying things. Or decorating things and so forth.

It’s more than that. It’s about Jesus. His story, the gospel, God becoming flesh and blood. God became a Man. The light of the world came to earth to shine His light into this dark world. Jesus was born to live and to live a life for all of us can live through HIm. The beloved Son of God, was given to the world as a gift.

His presence of life is the best gift that we will ever have. Christmas is God’s gift for humanity. Not all will receive this gift of life. Not all will believe upon Jesus. But for those who do and will receive Him as Lord and Savior, have a different spirit in them not as the world’s.

Jesus is LORD of All. I have His Spirit. He is the Lord over my life. The meaning of Christmas is all about Jesus. He is the Christ. Come Lord Jesus. We await Your return. Come. Lord Come.

May we learn the true meaning of Christmas.
May we understand the reason for the season.
May we enter into the Christmas season with awe and wonder.

Thanks for reading.

Merry Christmas.
