Can’t Control Changes

Can’t Control Changes
By S. A. Blakley

Can’t control changes, Wishing them to be
The way we want them, How we love to see

Desires of our hearts, We think, we’re so blunt
To satisfy our souls, Those things we long want

Hidden in the dark, Not seen in the light
Of light who’s within, Our being insight

Changes keep coming, No way to stop that
Adjust to what’s there, So think, where you’re at?

Can’t go everywhere, Have to leave alone
Can’t control changes, Need to change your tone
