Are we preparing a room in our hearts for Jesus to birth something new in us? I hope so

The spirit is in the air. Christmas Eve is coming soon! We are on the Advent Journey! Are we preparing a room in our hearts for Jesus to birth something new in us? I hope so.

It’s a busy time of the year. I know the stores are crowded. People shopping and buying gifts. Indeed, we are going  about life’s script; those things that we were taught.  We do our best to keep going with the tradition. Well, we try.

Over the years, I have been doing less shopping. I don’t know why.  There’s a different feel about things. Why over do things when it’s not necessary?

I do give cards out for Christmas. I do give some gifts. I do sing Christmas songs and so forth.  Christmas is about Jesus. It’s not what I get or give during this season. The heart of Christmas is Jesus!

The gift of the life of Christ is a precious gift. There is no money in the world that can buy that gift.  The wonder of why God wanted to give His Son as a gift to the world. It amazes me.

God so loved the world, He gave His only begotten Son, so that we may have life. The gift of life through Jesus Christ. The present that every person has an honor to receive. But not all will receive that gift.

I pray that people will receive the saving knowledge that God have giving us life through his Son, Christ. God’s final Word is Jesus. No man can be saved without Him.

The best present anyone will every receive in life will be the gift of salvation. That gift is a person.  His name is Jesus Christ.  I pray that many will receive Jesus.

May we enter into the spirit of the season at hand. May the LORD guide us into His truth. May we make room for Jesus in our hearts every day on the journey of life. AMEN.

Thanks for reading.
