Though slowing down, I’m right where I need to be; Enjoying Life

I’ve been slowing down a bit. I’m catching my second wind. I’ve been thrown off track. But, I’m coming along okay. This too shall pass.

Indeed, life is a journey. We need to find something in our life to enjoy the journey on the way where we are headed. We need to slow down and smell the tulips.

We can always be in a hurry. We have so much to get done in our daily dos. We have plans that we make. Some of them, we can’t finish. There are things in our life that interrupts our plans. Those things can throw us off track.

What do should we do when this happens? We ought to slow down and regroup. Things will come in our lives for the good or not so good. But, we have to make chooses, to do what we can. And move on with what we need to be doing.

We need to allow ourselves to have space. We can’t get everything done as we wish. There are challenges that will come in our way. We have to keep pressing on.

May we not be  too involved in things that will trip us up. May the LORD grant us wisdom to know the difference in what we need to do. May we stop and smell the tulips from time to time. AMEN!

Thanks for reading,
Susan

    Good Morning, Susan.

I love fresh starts. They are fun. We have gun, then routine, the it feels like a rut in a hut with a nut. I moved 20 times in 40 years for my employer. I also saw it as a fresh start.
