Still Feasting: In The Easter Season

Happy Easter! Yes, we’re still in the Easter Season. He is risen! Thank God for the resurrection!

Yesterday was Ascension Day! I thought about those who witnessed Jesus’ ascend to heaven. Imagine, seeing someone you know, floating upward without any thing rising the person up. It would catch me out guard and mess with my thinking. What in the world?

How wonderful it is to believe by faith that Jesus has risen from the dead. What great hope that is. May we continue to live in with the hope. Jesus is our blessed hope. Come, Lord Jesus!

Tonight, I’m attending an Easter feast. I normally don’t eat after 7 PM. It’s rarely that I do. But, in those rare occasions, I’ve learned to enjoy the fellowship and the food. Actually,  when I eat late,  I tend to stay of late.  It’s a late night for me.

May we continue in the Easter celebrating rejoicing.
May we leave room for  mystery and don’t try to figure everything out.
May others see Jesus in us as we live out the Christian life.

Thanks for reading.

This was a very nice post on continuing to Celebate Jesus and his rising from the dead and then rising up into the sky promising to come back the same way.
