Into Summer: Still In The Silence

Yep!  It can be felt. Summer time is here. We’re into the 2nd full day of the season. I’m enjoying it already. I have my mind-set. I’m doing things I like doing.

I was doing my last-minute Spring cleaning before Summer began. I was in the process of getting rid of things I no longer serve . Things that wasted my time or my time for things have expired. (In other  words, I let go of some things.)

I know we don’t have to do everything people ask of us. Or do things we think we should be doing. We can be overloaded. Especially, if we are doing things to please people. Don’t be a people pleaser. Be a God pleaser.

I’ve been learning things along my journey. We all do… I know that I can’t to keep track of what everybody in my world is doing. I have enough trouble keeping track what I’m doing. Well, I’m trying to keep myself together. Lord, help me Jesus!

I’ve been practicing to be still in the silence. There’s so much to do in any given a day. I know, I must take the time to be still with God. I believe that if I cut away from things that’s not necessary, I can have that time with God.

Yes! God should be first priority in our lives. Being in His presence is a precious gift. We should acknowledge God. He is our Creator.

May we practice the presence of God daily.
May we set aside time to be with God as often as we can.
May we be still in the silence and know who God is.

Thanks for reading.
