Week 27: Favorite Spot In Your City: And I have many.
I’ve been thinking about my favorites spots in the city where I dwell. I have good memories there. I’m thankful for those places.
My personal favorite spot is where I spend most of my time. I’m at home there. One of my favorite public spots, is wherever I pray…. I love my time with Jesus. And I have another spot that connects with this spot.
I don’t have a photo of that spot. But, here’s an example of what I’m speaking of. This is the place to where I’m in the process of receiving communion. That’s sacred time. ~ Holy Communion.
I love seeing where the LORD’s table is located…the bread and wine: the body and blood of Jesus. The presence of the Lord is with us. (In the cross and communion photo to the side: this communion was for workers for the children church before their Sunday gathering.)
It’s rare that I receive communion in the Upper Room. I partake of communion there about 2 times a year once on Ash Wednesday and Maundy Thursday. The other time is when I attend the Sunday gatherings. I believe that this part of the gathering is the most important.
The joy of being in my favorite spaces where I go and just being there. It’s like longing to be where you long to be. Once you get there, oh, the feeling. Thank You, Jesus!
May we be thankful for our favorite places.
May we enjoy our time there.
Thanks for reading.
God bless you.
