Your Favorite Holiday

The 44th Week of Gratitude ~  Your Favorite Holiday ~ And what’s my favorite holiday? I really don’t have one.  Everyday is a gift from God.  And each day is sacred.  I celebrate life and make the most of each day.

I’ve come to enter into the holiday seasons as they come. Thanksgiving is every day. And the joy of Christmas and Easter is knowing Jesus. I do enjoy the beginning of the New Year with the beauty of the Advent Season. What a sight to see the decorations leading up to through the Christmas season!

As I look back on life, I thank God for the memories. I enjoyed our Thanksgiving gatherings. I remember New Year’s Celebration, Mother’s Day , Father’s Day and The Fourth of July. Indeed, family gatherings are special.

In my early years, the whole  family would  join together.  We would have picnics, cookouts and whatsoever. We would celebrate our parents’ birthdays.  The whole family gatherings were special.

As the years came to pass, things have changed. People have gone on to be with the LORD. There were some have moved away.  We don’t get together as much. The Holidays bring good memories.

May we learn to celebrate the gift of each day.
May we enjoy doing life with Jesus and others.
May we enter into life and be who God has called us to become.

Thanks for reading.
God bless you
